Every year around Halloween, I pull out my volume of Edgar Allan Poe’s complete works and try to make my way through all of them before Halloween’s over. Well, I rarely ever have the time to get through all of them in that time and this year is no different.

I’m only about halfway through the book now, so I’m just going to try and finish it before Thanksgiving and I start putting up all of my Christmas decorations. I’ve been doing this for so many years that I thought that maybe I’d get a really nice set of his complete works instead of my old version which was getting so worn out. So I went online to order it and happened across the site HughesNet and ended up switching over my internet service to it while I was at it. This is the first year that I’ve been reading from the new collection.

I first fell in love with Edgar Allan poe’s writing when we read the Raven when I was in school. Ever since then I’ve just loved reading his stories over and over again.
